I consider
myself a vivacious wife, mother, and entrepreneur with
a passion for health and fitness. I come from a close
family of 9 and grew up in St. Augustine, Florida. After
meeting and marrying the love of my life Andy Gillis,
we moved to Atlanta to pursue our careers...mine was in
banking...though I have always had a passion for fitness
and loved being active.
Pure Women's Fitness came to be by accident, when some
of my coworkers asked me to train them after work several
days a week. So when the bank closed down we turned on
our 80's cardio and had a great workout! After a few months,
one of my coworkers asked me why I was in banking and
not in fitness...I didn't have an answer. Encouraged,
I pursued my first fitness certification while working
out my notice at the bank, and Pure Women's Fitness was
born! Of course, I now have my business account and many
fit friends at that bank!
Upon the birth of our precious little girl Olivia, we
decided to move home to St. Augustine to be closer to
our families.
Thanks to loyal clientele and my wonderful staff, our
Atlanta branch is still booming and I am thrilled to have
been able to bring the Pure Women's Fitness concept to
the lovely ladies in my hometown! Please scroll down to
meet your Atlanta trainers and feel free to contact them...I
know they would be so happy to chat with you about your
fitness needs and gain your trust and business. I would
love for you to be one of our success stories!

Jana Yandle
is a native Georgian who has been active since birth.
As a child, Jana enjoyed dance, cheer, and gymnastics.
She carried on that passion through college and cheered
on an athletic scholarship at Mercer University in Macon
where she studied science and bio-medical engineering.
Most recently, Jana feeds her personal passion for strength
training through regular weight lifting exercises, her
conditioning through running local and state half-marathons,
and her passion for her community by being a supporter
of young women in sports in various ways.
Jana has a passion for healthy
living, from the inside out. Eating healthy, having a
strong self-worth, being physically fit and toned are
all important to Jana in her own life and she encourages
these traits in the lives of her clients.
Shes learned how to alter
southern food preparation methods to fit her health needs
and continue enjoying the fine foods of the South, and
is excited to start workshops and seminars to share with
other Southern cooking women skills for use in their own
kitchen. Her husband Shamus enjoys this talent as well!
Jana has recognized the importance
of scheduling time for being active especially if a full-time
job leaves you sitting at a desk. She experienced the
value of counseling with others (friends or experts) for
support and accountability. Jana values the importance
of family and friends and promotes keeping yourself connected
to positive people.
Within Pure Womens Fitness
Personal Training program and through her own studies
and knowledge, Jana is a qualified Personal Trainer, Group
Instructor in kickboxing, Pilates, yoga, sculpting, and
aerobics. She is a PWF Lifestyle Counselor for guidance
in weight management, nutritional guide, provides exclusive
e-personal training, and more.
Jana is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American
Council on Exercise. She enjoys staying connected to her
community through volunteer work. Currently, she is serving
on the Marietta Center for Advanced Academics Grant Writing
Committee - which is chaired by one of her clients. She
is also coaching an Upward Cheerleading team for Smyrna
First Baptist Church. Since coaching is the closest she'll
get to cheering - she takes any opportunity she can get
to instill the passion and sport of cheerleading into
any young girl! Jana and her husband Shamus are active
attendees of Buckhead Community Church and are the proud
new parent of Shamus Jr, born in April 2008.

Crissy Rapp, originally from Cincinnati, joins the Pure
Women's Fitness team with a wealth of education and experience
within the fitness world. With a B.S. in Psychology and
Kinesiology, as well as a Master's degree in Kinesiology
and Sport Psychology, Crissy grasps not only the physical,
but also mental components of healthy living. Personally,
Crissy comes from a family of athletes and has always
been involved in sports herself. After finishing her collegiate
athletic career Crissy was happy to be able to workout
because she wanted to, rather than having to. This was
the balance that she was so happy to discover. It was
then that she explored kickboxing, circuit training, group
classes, and other forms of FUN fitness. Hearing others
report that exercise is "boring" strikes Crissy
as a challenge to convince them to feel otherwise. She
takes pride in being a strong female and is amazed by
how her confidence, positive attitude, and overall happiness
correlate with her fitness routine. With a busy schedule,
Crissy finds the same difficulties in eating healthy and
finding time to exercise. She has developed strategies
and routines that work for her, however, and she truly
believes in the power of positive affirmations, mantras,
and positive self-talk. "Change your mind and your
body will follow." Crissy has goals just as her clients
do, and the motivation that she receives from each and
every person she trains with is truly amazing.
Having held a broad spectrum of jobs, ranging from foster
care case manager to college counselor, Crissy came to
the realization that she is happiest when she is helping
others. This realization of being a "helper"
in conjunction with her fitness knowledge and experience
allowed her to enter the world of training. Crissy then
took the steps toward certification, nutrition research
and earning her Masters Degree in the field while training
part time at local gyms. Friends and family quickly started
turning to Crissy for fitness and workout advice and she
feels she was more excited to help than they were to be
helped. Over the years, with experience as a personal
trainer, exercise consultant, boot camp instructor, and
collegiate athlete, she has developed a passion for motivating
others to reach and exceed their fitness and lifestyle
goals.
Crissy has spoken at the Georgia High School Athletic
leadership convention on positive coaching and leadership.
Additionally, she is an active member of GAHPERD and the
Association for Applied Sport Psychology Personally, she
enjoys playing club sports including sand volleyball,
flag football, and softball. Crissy recently participated
in City Chase Atlanta (and will try her hardest to get
you out there next year!) and is always looking for new
volunteer and/or adventurous opportunities in this great
city of Atlanta.

through International Sports Sciences Association. She
is a registered nurse. She emphasizes nutritional analysis
and clean, healthy eating. As a member of PWF she is dedicated
to providing quality training and life coaching.
After being diagnosed with a health problem at an early
age, she has devoted her life to a lifestyle of a good
diet and plenty of exercise. At age 13 she started seeing
a registered dietician and exercising. She understands
the value of having professional assistance in reaching
goals. A blessing in disguise it has been her way of life
every since.
Christina has a Bachelors degree in psychology from Montclair
State University. Upon starting graduate classes there
she realized her passion was not to just learn about the
human mind, but also the human body. She went back to

importance of keeping active through pregnancy and how
to be an example of good health to her children. She has
been a member of The Cobb Parents of Multiples Club since
